The agreement between you and Fadha'il when you read the site, create an account, subscribe to Premium or buy a Focus Guide.
Fadha'il is run by Youssef Azarkan (sole trader), 31 Stonefield Drive, Manchester M8 8YH, United Kingdom, contact@fadhail.com. In these terms, "we" means Youssef Azarkan and "you" means the person using the site.
Fadha'il gives educational information about supplements and skincare ingredients, rated by the quality of the published evidence. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment, and it does not replace a doctor, pharmacist or other health professional.
Talk to a health professional before you take a supplement or change a treatment, especially if you take medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a health condition, or are looking after a child. In an emergency, call 999 (UK) or 112 (EU).
We do not sell supplements or skincare products and we do not recommend brands.
Reading the open parts of the site is free and needs no account. Please do not copy the content elsewhere, resell it, extract it automatically, try to get round the access rules, or use the site in a way that harms it or other people.
Accounts are for people aged 18 or over, one account per person. Keep access to the email address you use: it is how you sign in.
A free account includes, each calendar month (UK time): 15 complete pages that you choose to unlock, 10 ingredient-list checks, and the member tools. Unused allowances do not carry over.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where that is reasonable.
Premium opens the complete analysis of every page, the member tools without limit, the monthly resources and 2 Focus Guides of your choice, readable while Premium is active.
The prices, in pounds sterling, are shown on the Plans page and again at checkout before you pay. VAT: VAT registration in progress. There are no other fees.
You pay in advance, monthly or yearly. Premium renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, until you cancel. We email you before a yearly plan renews.
If a price changes, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to you, so you can cancel first.
You can stop the renewal at any time in your account, with Manage billing. Premium then continues until the end of the period already paid. After the 14-day cancellation period, periods already started are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a few days. If it still fails, Premium ends and the account becomes a free account again.
A Focus Guide is bought once. Its price is shown before you pay. You can read it in your account for as long as your account exists. If we ever had to close Fadha'il, we would tell you at least 60 days before.
Guides chosen as part of Premium can be read while Premium is active.
You have 14 days to cancel Premium. For a Focus Guide, the right to cancel ends when it opens, because you ask for it to open straight away. Everything is explained on Your right to cancel.
Each rating reflects our reading of the published evidence at the review date shown on the page. Science changes and we may get something wrong: we review pages and publish corrections. Please tell us if you find an error.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
If digital content we supplied damages your device or other digital content because we did not take reasonable care, we will repair the damage or pay compensation.
We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, or for business losses: the site is for personal use.
We may update the service and these terms. The date of the current version is shown at the top. For a change that affects what you pay or what Premium includes, we give you notice by email before it applies, and you may cancel.
You can delete your account at any time in your account. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
If something goes wrong, write to contact@fadhail.com: we reply within 14 days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
